Saturday, 19th January
You will be welcomed at the Airport-Train or Bus Station
in Dunedin by your SOS Guide and transferred to your accommodation.
The evening is free to enjoy the hospitality of the “Oldies Bars”.
Sunday, 20th January
THE MARCH PAST All participants are invited to take part
in the great March Past. Following the March Past all Team Leaders and
Referees will meet for a “Briefing Session”, whilst all other guests
will be taken back to their Hotels. This evening you will be taken to
the Opening Party where you will eat, drink and be merry with old and
new “Supa Oldies”.
Monday, 21st January
Let the Games begin. The games continue all day and if
necessary into the evening. All participants will be picked up daily
and transferred to the Football Grounds.
This evening is free.
Tuesday, 22nd January
Football is again the order of the day. Your “Inner Person”
will be well catered for on this and every day by our Food and Beverage
team. After a day of fun what better way of ending it...with more Fun!
Tonight we have our famous “Karaoke & Talent Night” for the would be
entertainers.
Wednesday, 23rd January
Today is “Fun day the SOS way”. A scenic Tour through
the beautiful Central Otago Region with its breathtaking scenery .We
travel with the famous “Taieri Gorge Train” Through rugged Rock formations
where Gold Diggers sought their fortune over 150 years ago. This and
the clear Air will get you in the mood for a hearty BBQ Lunch with great
“Kiwi” Beer, Wine or Soft Drinks. After Lunch you will be treated to
some spectacular Dancing by “Maori” Dancers. The evening is free.
Thursday, 24th January
Lace up those Boots again...”its footy time”. The evening
is free.
Friday, 25th January
Another great day of football, and a night off to relax.
Saturday, 26th January
Finals today, followed by the “Awards” tonight. The
football will be played at a frantic pace all eager to make it to the
end. The “Awards Night” will be much more relaxed...Wine, Dine and Dance
if those “Oldies” Legs will stand up to it after the weeks football...
and enjoy the “Special Experience” that is part of belonging to the
Brotherhood of “Supa Oldies”.
Sunday, 27th January
Today its either over or onwards to other tours on your
holiday schedule. Your SOS Guide will arrange for your departure from
“Dunedin” to your homeport. For those lucky enough to be enjoying post
festival options to other destinations, your Guide will ensure that
all your arrangements are in place as you continue to enjoy your New
Zealand adventure.
